White Scars Characters
Color and paint schemes
Our latest project, a set of White Scars conversions that has been both a challenge and a marvel at the same time. The project consists of three Primaris miniatures on bikes: a Primaris Technomarine, a Primaris Apothecary and a Primaris Ancient. These unique conversions were created from the characters on foot and a box of 3 Primaris Outriders, cutting the torsos and adapting them to the bikes to create these custom White Scars Characters.
To maintain consistency with our client’s previous order, we painted the miniatures following the White Scars color scheme, with the Apothecary and Ancient sporting the typical white of the chapter, while the Technomarine stands out with his characteristic red scheme, but keeping the White Scars shoulder pad. The level of painting and decoration of the bases in the whole project is of an Ornate level.
As for the aging effects, the miniatures show severe wear on their bikes and armor, as well as dirt and mud effects on the vehicles. The bases follow the same aesthetics of the previous project, with a battered road along which the mechanized army advances, rust pigments and sparse vegetation to give an extra touch to the environment.

Customer briefing
I want to expand with some White Scars Characters
Our client had been delighted with our previous work on his White Scars – Storm of Chogoris project. Upon receiving the miniatures, he couldn’t help but think about expanding his collection, so it didn’t take him long to contact us again, this time with a very special idea in mind: to make conversions of a Primaris Technomarine, a Primaris Apothecary and a Primaris Ancient, in order to have his own custom bike White Scars Characters.
He enthusiastically shared with us his desire to keep the color scheme we had already used in his previous order, with the Primaris Apothecary and Primaris Ancient sporting the chapter’s signature white and the Technomarine in his iconic red, always keeping the White Scars shoulder pad. In addition, I wanted the miniatures to show severe wear and dirt effects on their bikes and armor, conveying the feeling of seasoned warriors.

Unique characters
The process of this project was very rewarding, especially since these were tailor-made conversions. We started by focusing on the assembly of the miniatures, using the models from both boxes and adjusting them to fit the bikes perfectly. Once assembled, we proceeded to paint them following the color scheme already established in the previous order, which allowed us to speed up the process.
As for the bases, we based them on the aesthetics of the previous project, recreating a battered road with rust pigments and sparse vegetation to give an extra touch to the environment. During the 2-3 days that the project lasted, we maintained constant communication with our client, sharing photos of the daily progress and adjusting details according to their preferences.
