At Art-W Studio we are dedicated to the professional painting of miniatures on commission. Our job is to provide a complete assembly miniatures and miniature painting service and a unique experience throughout the whole process, from the box to the display case.
But most importantly, we understand this fantastic world because…. We are passionate about the hobby too!
So much so that we decided to jump -without a parachute- to professionalize the sector and give painters and modellers the opportunity to make a living from the hobby.
In short, a job done by gamers for gamers. We are waiting for you!
Our team
Made up of several departments and more than a dozen professionals, we work like a Swiss watch with the sole intention of offering you the best and achieving your complete satisfaction.
If you want to meet our geniuses in person, you will find them in our miniature painting studio in the neighbourhood of Gracia in Barcelona. They are in charge of turning simple pieces into masterpieces.
Painters who fight full time against the grey tide. Bringing your miniatures to life with the care and treatment they deserve. They are 100% dedicated to this. In every project and in every miniature, they break their backs, like true warriors on the battlefield.

I started painting when I was about 8 years old, not knowing that it would unleash my passion for miniatures. I stopped painting miniatures when I was 16 to "focus on more important things", and I came back a couple of years ago, knowing how to thin paint.
Since then, I have tried to give my best in each miniature, learning more with each one.

Painting commissions for 10 years, I have been able to turn it into my profession, always looking for the best result.

My first contact with the hobby was with my brother's HeroQuest and the first LOTR kits. It wasn't until I was an adult that I really fell in love with the hobby, back in 2018. Since then, I've been practicing, polishing and discovering new techniques.
I love creating decadent environments on miniatures and building a narrative with every detail!

Since I started with Star Crusade I have been enjoying the different aspects of the hobby. Usually focusing more on the background and especially the painting and kitbashing of miniatures.

After several years of experience painting on commission. I was able to turn my hobby into my profession.

Back in the year 2000, a good friend of mine wanted to show me a few issues of a collection he had started. It was called "Warhammer" and it was published by Altaya. It was a set of miniatures, which had to be painted, and were part of a rich fantasy universe.
It was these last two concepts that stayed with me, developing them over the years, until now, where I try to channel it towards a more professional path.

I am in charge of immortalizing all the projects that are finished in Art-W so that you can enjoy them on your screens.

I have never painted a miniature in my life, yet I am one of the pieces that make the Art-W gear work. I make sure that everything goes as it should, I manage the logistics of the studio, the supply of material, relations with brands and collaborators.
From the moment an order arrives to the moment a package leaves the studio, it's under my control.

I painted my first Warhammer box when I was 9 years old. I was collecting for several years and stopped at high school, then I took it up again during university, painting between exams. It was then when I did my first commissions and as a result Art-W Studio was born.
I am in charge of the organization of the studio and ensure that all projects exceed the expectations of our clients.

What inspires us
Grimdark aesthetics and post-apocalyptic fantasy inspire us a lot, indeed, but we want to reach new heights and create an unprecedented community through Art-W, giving space to all hobby lovers.
We want to add value to the sector through various initiatives, masterclasses on painting, modelling or scenography, organisation of events and tournaments… And at the same time support other initiatives within the hobby. Although all in due course…
Our goal
We want to be a reference in this hobby worldwide. We are aware that we are setting the bar very high. But if you have seen some of the projects we have done, the service we offer and what our customers say about us, you will understand that this goal is achievable.
2019
October / February
It starts not long ago, when a young hobbyist is encouraged to paint miniatures as a hobby from home. With this, the opportunity arises to offer this service to people who require it.
2020
March
With the arrival of the month of March, the Pandemic comes along with an unexpected lockdown. This makes us think about creating this project as something bigger, and with the help of a childhood friend, we decide to create a website.
August / December
We decided to look for professional painters and reorganise the project to offer an exceptional service. We rethought the strategy and moved to new facilities, creating our own style.
2021
February / September
We refurbish the premises and create a new brand image. We contact Warhammer to get a commercial collaboration, which means more and better advantages for our clients. There is a big increase of clients and projects, which leads us to work with a full-time permanent staff.
2022
January / December
We continue to expand the team, we start working with foreign media and work with international clients, reaching clients on all 5 continents.
2023
News
We added our newest painter to the team, we are at full capacity... which means that we are looking for a bigger place where we can continue to grow and offer the highest quality to our customers.
