Blood Bowl Season II
Color and paint schemes
We have just completed a project that has kept us busy in our studio: two Blood Bowl Season 2 teams, each with their own unique style and character. On the one hand, the noble humans of the Imperial Nobility Team; on the other, the fierce orcs and goblins of the Black Orc Team.
The Imperial Nobility Team is composed of 12 warriors, plus an iconic Griff Oberwald and an imposing Ogre. For them, we designed a scheme that combines purple and white, complemented with touches of gold on their armor, giving them that air of grandeur that characterizes the imperial nobility. The miniatures were assembled and painted at game level, taking care of the details but maintaining an efficient workflow.
The Black Orc Team, on the other hand, is formed by 6 Black Orcs, 6 Goblin Bruisers, a fearsome Varag Ghoul-Chewer, and an impressive, trained Troll. This team is distinguished by an aggressive color scheme, where the orange and red tones of the armor blend with the green skin of the orcs and goblins, creating a powerful image on the field. The Troll, in particular, was painted with a bluish skin that distinguishes it from the rest and makes it a real menace.
The bases were decorated with electrostatic turf and the classic white lines of the Blood Bowl field were added, giving them a realistic look. All the work was done at game level, looking for a fast and effective execution without losing sight of the detail and aesthetic coherence that each team deserves, a Blood Bowl Season II project full of action and color!

Orcs and Nobles on the Playing Field: Our Latest Blood Bowl Project
This client met us through social networks, where he had been following us for some time and had seen other Blood Bowl projects we had done. Motivated by the results we showed in our previous work, he decided to trust us to paint the teams in his Season 2 starter box.
He was pretty clear on what he wanted in terms of color schemes. For the Imperial Nobility, he was looking for a noble and refined look and asked us for a purple and white scheme with gold accents that would give that sense of grandeur. In contrast, for the Black Orc Team, he wanted something much more aggressive, with red and orange armor, and the classic green orc skin. In addition, he specified that the team’s Troll should stand out, suggesting a dark blue tone for his skin, which would give him a distinctive touch.
He also commissioned us to assemble the miniatures and make the bases, with a very specific request: to include details of the Blood Bowl field, such as electrostatic grass and white lines, to make the game even more immersive.

Blood Bowl in Two Teams: How We Brought Every Detail to Life
The process for this project went very smoothly, and we made sure to keep the client informed every step of the way. We started by assembling a miniature of each team, which we then painted as a sample to define the color schemes. Once approved, we proceeded with the complete assembly of all the figures.
Each painter worked on one of the teams to speed up the process. We used airbrushes to apply the main bases: purple and white tones for the human team, and greens, reds and oranges for the orcs and goblins. After that, the details were painted by brush: from the feathers on the Imperial Nobility armor, to the leather pieces and bandages on the Black Orcs.
The Troll received special attention, applying a combination of dark blue tones to make him stand out among his companions. Finally, the bases were decorated with electrostatic grass and the white lines of the Blood Bowl field were added.
Throughout the process, we sent photos to the client to show daily progress. This allowed us to adjust any details in real time, making sure that the final result was exactly what he expected. Here you can see some of the images we shared!
