At Art-W Studio, we have brought the Grives Team to life in a way that is sure to take your breath away. Featuring 16 fascinating Ratmen and an imposing Ogre Rat, this team, inspired by the classic colors of Arsenal F.C., is a true masterpiece of modeling.
Our meticulous approach is reflected in every detail. From the choice of colors, which pay homage to the legendary soccer team, to the technique used to paint each figure, we have worked with passion and precision to ensure a stunning result. The shades of red and white blend perfectly with the shades of gray and brown of the rat men’s fur, creating a visually striking contrast.
But we didn’t stop there. The bases of the miniatures of Grives Team have also received our meticulous attention. Inspired by Blood Bowl playing fields, each base has been decorated with elements that evoke the atmosphere of the game. Artificial grass, small terrain details and strategically placed lighting effects make each miniature come to life in a unique and exciting way.
As for the process, we have combined traditional skills with modern technology to achieve exceptional results. From the initial assembly of the miniatures to the process of painting and decorating the bases, each step has been carried out with a level of attention to detail that defines our work at Art-W Studio. In addition, we have integrated 3D printed elements to add additional layers of detail and realism to each figure.

Rats, Rats Everywhere: The Challenge of Painting Grives

Our encounter with this exciting Grives Team project began when an enthusiastic Bloodbowl fan, eager to recreate the spirit of competition in miniature, contacted us with a particular challenge: to bring to life the brave members of the Wrives team. From the very first moment, we knew we were in for an exciting challenge. With a set of 16 skilled Ratmen and an imposing Ogre Rat, the playing field promised to witness epic confrontations.
Following the client’s instructions, we immersed ourselves in the Arsenal F.C. universe, adopting their iconic colors for the kit: a vibrant red shirt and white pants that exuded determination and grit. But the real mastery lay in the subtlety of the details: the rat men meticulously painted brownish-gray coats contrasted with the bright flashes of garish green OSL, emanating from the shards of witch stone that adorned their bodies.
To bring this sporting scenario to life, we delved into the creation of captivating bases that would transport spectators to the very arenas where these brave men would compete. Every step of the process was meticulously planned and executed, from the assembly of the miniatures to the decoration of the bases with 3D printed elements, all with a level of detail that captured the essence of the confrontation.

Sweat, Fight & Color: The Bloodbowl Project

Throughout this exciting creative journey, we have kept the client in the loop every step of the way. From the first stroke of paint to the final touches, we have shared with him an intimate view of the evolution of his project. We proudly showed him the daily progress pictures, revealing the gradual transformation of simple miniatures into true warriors of the playing field.
Each photo submitted represented a milestone on the road to perfection, from the careful application of Arsenal F.C.-inspired colors to the creation of lighting effects that enhanced the ferocity of the rat men. We emphasized meticulous attention to detail at every stage of the process, ensuring that the client felt engaged and excited with each new update.
Through our daily communications, we cultivated a relationship of trust and transparency, demonstrating our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. Each image shared not only represented progress on the project, but also a stronger bond between our team and those who trust us to bring their miniature dreams to life.
