Hierotek Circle Necrons
Color and paint schemes
Welcome, art and strategy lovers! Today we want to share with you one of the most exciting projects we’ve had the pleasure of making at Art-W Studio: the Kill Team of Necrons, also known as Hierotek Circle. Immerse yourself in a universe of epic battles and ancient technology as we take you through this fascinating project.
Imagine a formidable group of metal warriors, their armor gleaming in a stunning silver, adorned with golden touches that evoke the grandeur of an ancient dynasty, each one meticulously assembled to highlight their individuality within the whole.
Our team of artists immersed themselves in the challenge, devotedly following the color schemes of the venerable Sautekh Dynasty, but they didn’t stop there. The bases, carefully set in a rocky and desolate landscape, contrast magnificently with the greenish glow of the necron weapons, adding depth and realism to each figure.
As for the process, each miniature was treated with the utmost care and attention to detail. From the initial assembly to the final brushstroke of deep green OSL lighting effects, our team strived for excellence every step of the way. In addition, to ensure an immersive gaming experience, we incorporated 3D printed elements to further highlight the unique personality of each unit.

Customer briefing
In the Dark with the Hierotek Circle
How did this epic partnership between Art-W Studio and Hierotek Circle come about? It all started when our client, a passionate Warhammer strategist, was looking to bring his own Necron army to life. He found us through our social networks, captivated by our meticulous and creative approach to miniature painting.
With a clear vision in mind, he tasked us with bringing his Necron Kill Team to life, specifically requesting that we follow the Sautekh Dynasty color scheme to capture the essence of these ancestral warriors. However, he gave us total creative freedom when it came to the assembly of the miniatures, relying on our expertise to create a balanced and formidable composition.
Armed with our client’s vision and the challenge to exceed their expectations, we dove into this exciting project with enthusiasm and dedication.
