Orkz Army
Color and paint schemes
Welcome to the heart of the Waaagh! At Art-W Studio, we are proud to present our latest project: a massive army of Orkoz, designed to sweep through the most ruthless battlefields. The star of the show? Ghazghkull Thraka, leading this green tide to victory.
Imagine an impressive display: Ghazghkull Thraka at the front, accompanied by Makari, the Ork Mek, Mozrog Skragbad, and a host of bloodthirsty Boyz. But that’s not all; there’s also an impressive array of vehicles and creatures, from a Deff Dread to the fearsome Squighog Boyz.
The color scheme is as brutal as Ghazghkull itself. Dark skins weathered silver metals and black robes bring this army to life. But make no mistake, these creatures are not afraid to smear themselves with yellow desert dust as they unleash mayhem on their enemies!
Each miniature has been assembled with surgical precision by our skilled craftsmen, ensuring that every detail is in place before the first brush strokes are applied. And speaking of paint, our team has raised the bar for the game, applying a flawless finish that not only meets gaming standards, but also impresses on any display.
The bases, an often underestimated but crucial aspect, have been carefully crafted. With a desert environment in mind, we have created textured bases that transport each miniature to the dusty, hostile terrain they call home.

Customer briefing
Ghazghkull Thraka and his henchmen: The Orkz Come Alive
It all started with a call, a request for help to bring a legendary army to life. Our client, an avid battle strategist, was looking for a team capable of materializing his vision: an army of Orkz, led by the imposing Ghazghkull Thraka, ready to dominate any battlefield.
From the first contact, it was clear that this would be no ordinary project. Our client wanted more than just painted miniatures; he wanted a faithful representation of his vision.
He asked us to immerse ourselves in the world of the Waaagh of Ghazghkull, with its dark tones, weathered metals and bases evoking an endless desert.
But in addition to the aesthetic details, our client had specific requests for each unit, from the look of the Gretchin to the intricate details of the Kill Rig. His passion for the hobby and attention to detail inspired us to exceed all expectations and take this project to new heights of greatness.

Dominating the North: The Army of House Bolton
Accompanying our client on every step of the journey towards the creation of his Orkz army was an honor and a privilege. From day one, we shared with him the daily progress, offering an intimate view of the creative process.
Our team immersed themselves fully in the project, working in a coordinated manner to bring each unit to life with meticulous attention to detail. From initial assembly to the final touch of paint on the bases, every phase of the process was documented and shared with our client.
Daily progress photos were not only a way to keep him informed, but also an opportunity to receive feedback and adjust our approach according to his preferences. This ongoing collaboration ensured that the result was in line with his expectations and exceeded his wildest dreams.
At the end of the journey, we delivered not only an Orkz army, but also an unforgettable experience of collaboration and shared creativity. This is the magic of working together to bring a vision to life, and we are grateful to have been a part of it.
